What's a Prepaid Card?

A prepaid card is a rechargeable payment card. It is a so-called “systematic authorization” debit bank card. With each payment, its balance is questioned in order to check whether the card has sufficient funds to carry out the transaction. A prepaid card cannot therefore be overdrawn. This has many advantages for both card users and card providers.

Advantages of a prepaid card

All the advantages of a traditional card without the disadvantages

No overdraft possible: if the balance is insufficient, the transaction is refused.

Real-time services: card stolen? lost? Block it within seconds and from a distance.

Customizable: a rechargeable card in the colors of your brand but also according to the desired settings.

Secure purchases: with no credit possible, rechargeable cards simplify purchases abroad and on the internet.

Withdrawals: just like a traditional card, you can withdraw money easily at any bank in the world.

Global network: widely accepted by merchants across the entire network to which they belong (Mastercard®, Visa®...)

Infinite variations: whatever the intended use, the prepaid card adapts perfectly to all uses (professional, private, any sector of activity).
